Seiko M158-5009 World Time help!
I have a Seiko M158-5009 World Time watch. The stem functions stopped working. Everything else works as it should. It seems the internal mechanical isn't hooked up to the stem. When I pull and push the stem it does click in all 3 steps, but doesn't change the functions. I have it apart to observe the works but can't see where it isn't hooking up. Is there a way to reconnect the stem to make it work?

I took the watch all apart. there are two springs that help the stem return. Both of them are broken. I am in the process of getting a parts watch to replace them.
