22 hours, 14 timezones, and the international dateline

22 hours later I finally made it to Guam. My GMT II served me well. I needed to track timezones in Houston, Honolulu, Guam as well as home. What a great travel tool.
The first leg I saw the pilot wearing a very cool Breitling chrono. Two flight attendants on the last leg to Guam wore Rolex watches [2 tone DateJust and a pepsi GMT II just like mine except the bezel was really faded].
The Rolex GMT, don't leave home without it.

Great points!

I am currently considering a Date Sub, but as much as I travel this may very well trump that choice.

Have a great trip.
Did you change your timezone with accordance with all 14 timezones you passed through?

Thats what I love about my GMT, its second (or third) time zone function is something that I have use for. Great feature for travel.

You are so "on the money" Dan. In practical terms to lose nothing by opting for a GMT over a Sub. Still plenty water resistant and has that great additional feature.

Agreed ! I recently traveled to Asia for 2 weeks (Japan, HK, Singapore) and my GMT II was invaluable for keeping track of time quickly in multiple time zones.
