Omega Warranty Repair Question
Just sent my newly acquired 2021 Sapphire Speedmaster 3861 in for a warranty repair bc the chrono hand kept getting stuck at the :58 mark.
Question: I dropped it off at the OB. Do you get an alert and/or updates when they receive it at the Omega Service Center in NJ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not sure, but I know five or six years ago doing it this way meant the owner of the watch was out of the communication loop. At that time, if the owner sent the watch to Omega directly (no OB in between) then there was a portal on line where the owner could track receipt, diagnosis, progress of repair, etc. If the watch was handed off to an OB then there was not a direct source of info available to the owner.
Not sure how it works now. If you want to know then I think a call to Omega Customer Service would be the easiest way to find out. |

Don’t hate if I’m wrong, but I believe you only get such notifications (email) if you send it to the SC yourself. Sending through the OB you do not.

OB will be your point on the repair. Keep in touch with them
