Sorry, some of these are where I get off the PP train. tacky, like a velour wall hanging of whale swimming, an infant deer nuzzling its mother, or maybe Elvis. some of this imagery just isn’t becoming of this brand.

I went to the exhibition in London last week and was blown away. Unbelievable to see in person- the intricacy and the artistry involved is amazing.

I'll have you know I have a lovely velour wall hanging of a whale swimming with Elivis sat astride holding an infant deer in his arms, just trying to convince TS to do the picture on a watch dial now.

It was an amazing exhibition of skill and artistry but I could never image wearing what are in effect museum exhibition pieces.

Not sure I am amazed. I'm sure it takes a lot of work and craftsmanship but the motifs are just not super exciting (outside of the astrology dials)...

If it didn't say it was PP and was a one-off, then I'd question if everyone was still as excited. I'm not

not easy to create something unique that will appeal to everyone. art is subjective.

There was a lady from Geneva who has hand crafted with a small team all the pieces, one offs, not catalogue, not going to be on chrono24 or your local AD telling you need to buy one before a Nautilus, these will be offered to high end collectors who have a significant collection and status within Patek. Designed purely for their artistic attributes, hence why no watch has any form of complication whatsoever, I personally love what Patek Phillipe has done here, they’ve showcased beautiful art within their brand, used the finest enamelers to create something very different.

+1

Now, a 5531R… that I’d buy today at retail.
