New acquisition - 5226g
Surprise call from the AD - my first Patek! Really pleased with this one. Very much like the dial and the hobnailing on the case band.

Congratulations! It wear exceptionally well, doesn’t it?

On a side note, it is nice to see these newer releases finally being allocated to collectors rather than flippers.

I hope that you get the call soon!

For some perspective, in conversation with my AD while picking this one up, they said that they expect to get 3-4 of this model per year at most. Also mentioned that about 10% of Patek production is allocated to the US market per year (roughly 7500 pieces).
