Has this happened to anyone? It’s been right the last few months. I had to force it a bit at the airport to get it off for security. Then when I came home it completely came off.

It’s 4 years old, I can send it in for repair right? Just take it to an AD? The AD I got it from isn’t local.

I've never had that happen, but I'm intrigued. Can you pop it back in place? Will it stay if you do? All of mine move freely, so interested to find out why you had some noticeable friction prior to the separation. Hopefully, it's an easy fix, regardless of what it is.

There’s a pin there. If it wasn’t a Rolex I’d try to force the buckle into the pin, but im afraid I might warp the pin or the buckle by forcing it. I’d rather leave it as-is and let the right person fix it.

This above, and I would send the watch to RSC.
They have all the knowledge, tools, and parts to repair your watch.

Let us know how it works out.

Absolutely get it sent out to RSC! It won't be a warrantied repair but you will at least have peace of mind that it has been repaired to spec. I wonder what caused it to come loose like that. Perhaps impact or debris? I've put some of my watches through very rough usage and I've never had anything like this happen before.

Looks like the screw was backing out, causing the clasp to deform slightly.
That's probably why you had to "force" it a bit.
I agree, take it in, but maybe don't tell them you "forced it"!

Yeah that happened previously to me as well. It was a screw that was coming loose that caused the issue. Just need to tighten it again and it should be fine (didnt realise at the time and forced it in causing heavy scratches on the inner clasp side)

Spot on. I just noticed that. Was able to get it back on and tighten the screw. All good now!! Thank you!

Wow! Looks awful but glad to see it's been sorted, OP. Lucky it didn't slip off your wrist altogether with that "backed-out" bracelet screw!

That's why it came off, the retaining screw for the link has come loose, then you have forced the clasp open while that screw is loose/hanging out. You must have used some force to break it. Easy done, I have seen this screw come loose in my brothers BLNR too.

Yep, had the same happen to be but noticed the screw head sticking out and was able to screw it back down, and prevent damage to the fliplock.

Yes a easy fix but now make sure you periodically check all screws for tightness.
