Vincent, your 1680 without the bezel - wow, that really shows how high the tophats stand out from the case. I've never had my bezel off so I haven't seen that. Thanks for sharing!

Especially compared to flat sapphire.

My favorite type of dome is the Speedmaster Pro's raised and chamfered/ beveled dome.

I've never had one, but I do love them. I'd have to get a late 60s/early 70s one, I think.
