It's that little 'suggested' vertical line in between the SCOC text at the bottom…

Not sure how that ever became described as a 'rail' (more of a short stick), but they are rarer and quite sought-after.

Yep - and maybe a 'frog-foot' coronet here and there. To Rolex, it likely was/is all simply down to typography/design, variations from using several dial manufacturers, and perhaps a smidge of anti-forgery strategy, but to collectors, these things matter. A lot! A difference of thousands, sometimes!
