Regulation in Los Angeles Besides RSC?

Hi guys, my watch was at the RSC for being too fast, around +10 seconds a day. They kept the watch for 3 weeks and I have no clue what they did to it besides give it a 'complete service'. The watch is under waranty until Jan 08. The watch is now running +5 seconds a day which i realize is within COSC spec but it is still bothering me. So, I dread going to RSC as they will likely deny any warranty claim as it is now within spec.

Does anyone know an independent shop that can do this for me? Any help would be much appreciated!

That is my biggest worry. I was running about 7-10 sec fast a day. I could have lived with it but it bothered me, so i brought it into my AD and they said they had to ship it to NY. They said it would be 6 weeks. My fear is that I will get it back and it still will be fast. That will bug me. Then I will wonder what to do then. Its only a few months old and it was dead perfect for weeks at a time. That changed when I dropped it.

What wrist do you wear it on? Do you take it off at night? If so, how do you set it down? Crown side up? Down? Face up?
