Recently picked up my first TT which was bluesy and love it.

That said, I tried it on and then decided. Looking at pictures may give a false perception as its on someone else's wrist, others opinions will also be wide spread.

I'd try them all on and then decide, don't think I could let a strangers opinion influence how I spend that type of cash!

I'd choose full PM over TT any day of the week if it's an option

Welcome to the forum.

If you can swing the full gold SkyDweller, that’s the way I’d go

I think there's a lot of great looking TT out there but would always prefer full PM if you can swing it.

Full gold is above my pay grade at the moment which is why I stick to stainless steel as for me two tone just doesn’t do anything for me, so if you’re in the position I would go with the full gold skydwellee

I personally really like TT and wear it as much as, if not slightly more than full pm.

I’m with Richard on this. Glad I own a TT Datejust.

TT YG & black dial? Absolute win & a no brainer.

Full YG? Either tacky bling (if you’re a guy), or ‘hello the 1970’s’ look either way.

Probably be the TT Sky Dweller if it were me.

TT watches are really nice, but they may not be all that popular amongst newer collectors. But that should not deter you if you like the look and sparkle of color.
PM are always nice, but the contrast of the TT really makes the watch pop as is so evident on the TT Rootbeer model for instance.

I've always liked the two-tone look. Works better on some models than others though. All comes down to personal preference.

TT for certain references is (subjectively) beautiful!

I used to be like that, my wife loves TT and was keen that I should have a TT watch to wear for nights out, family do's etc etc.

However, no matter which TT the AD came up with I just couldn't see me wearing the watch, I tried DJ's, Daytona's, SkyDwellers, GMT's and Submariners, the closest was the black and gold Sub that almost had me flexing the plastic.

Then this year, sitting in the local AD was a TT Sea-Dweller, tried it on and flexed the plastic, it is stunning.

My advice, would be to periodically try a TT, you never know your tastes may change.

I like two tones. Particularly the Bluesy and Daytona. That said, not a big fan of a black dial SkyDweller in TT. I'd go full PM if you can but completely understand if it's cost prohibitive.

This. You need to try them on in person. I’ve bought some SS watches sight unseen online, but would never do that with a TT watch.

I turned down a TT Daytona at the Rolex shop at the Wynn in Las Vegas a few years ago.

I also love the Bluesy, and my husband has the TT black face Sub.

Absolutely agree

I've been adamant that they weren't for me yet always admired them from afar
Online images rarely look anywhere as nice as the watches in person

Tried on a TT Sky Dweller like picture above today and was pleasantly surprised

I love YG and I love SS so why I was always so certain TT was a bad thing I just don't know!

I have become Captain Two Tone - Bluesy, TT White SkyD, TT GRNR, on the hunt for a white dial TT Daytona.

Too close to SS, too far away from PM.
