Daydate masterpiece value?

A friend of mine has a daydate masterpiece 18956br

It has diamond bezel and dial has diamonds.

Anyone know what this watch is worth? Having trouble researching this watch. It does have box and papers and it’s in new condition.

Thank you in advance

Was looking for a bit more info then that. I’m well aware about supply and demand…. But this watch seems to not be selling much for me to research

Let us know what he sells if for then we’ll all know what it’s worth. Another value hack is to pay someone to appraise it.

Take an average of Chrono24 listing prices in your home country and subtract 25%. Chrono asking prices are way inflated.

There are a few variables. Does it have the engraved rehaut ? Has it ever been serviced ?
Is your friend the original owner ? Was it purchased in the US ? What year is the purchase date on the paperwork ? These can get you a little closer to your answer.

Put it in auction, if one of the big auction houses will accept it.

Padi56’s reply was entirely correct, despite accusations of sarcasm etc.

Anyone can say what they think something is worth. Ask them to put the money on the table.

Perhaps you should read the forum rules and this is not belittering sarcasm with your only 37 forum posts
