Something on SeaQ Dial

I just noticed what appears to be a speck of dust on my SeaQ dial. The 24 month warranty runs out in November. Just wanted some opinions if you think it’s worth sending in to be removed.

Hi Matt, if you run your finger nail over it, is it a small chip in the crystal?

No, it's definitely on the dial. When the hands are over that part of the dial, it disappears.

I’d send it in. Much too nice (and $) of a watch to not be perfect. It would be one of those I can’t “unsee”.

I agree with the above, send that in. I am not OCD at all but the dial is way to pretty to have that on it. I wouldn't be able to not stare at that spec.

I’d send it in while still under warranty. Too much money invested. Plus, it has been scientifically proven that specs or blemishes get bigger once you notice them and keep looking at them.

Sounds like a job for Glashutte to correct.

Thank you!

I was getting ready to contact GO about sending it in then I noticed it was gone! I don't know if it migrated somewhere else but the dial looks clean now.
