Dubey was a well-known master watchmaker and a prominent professor at the famous watchmaking school in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the Technicum. René Schaldenbrand was equally experienced and well known in the watch industry. Together they registered several international patents in the 1940’s, which helped shape the Swiss watch-making industry. Sixty-six years after the foundation, the brand is getting a fresh lease on life with Jonatan Gil at the helm, the owner since 2009. The tradition of Dubey & Schaldenbrand combined with contemporary design and latest technology makes it possible to offer a exclusive timepiece with the highest quality. Dubey & Schaldenbrand produces only limited quantities and small limited numbered editions with outstanding craftsmanship. Special attention to details and designs, both traditional and modern, without compromising on quality. Exquisite hand engraving is done by local craftsmen and always includes the blazon of the village of Les-Ponts-de-Martel; a watchmaker's hammer and a bridge. This stunning timepiece has been in the vault since its full service (except to display at the ATL GTG).
It's lonely and wants a new home...
