Incoming: a small & simple watch - lot’s of pleasure - BB54
Have been eyeing this watch for over a year now. In my country the one and only Tudor (as well as Rolex) AD has seen only a handful of these over the past year. The last piece many, many months ago. Finally I managed to snug one since two other „enthusiasts” in a row declined to pick this one up from another than mine location.
Conclusions: - A very neat, well executed watch. - The great overall visual effect is achieved thanks to the matte, steel bezel. It pairs so well with the matte dial. - T-Fit clasp - a fantastic solution in such a budget watch; love the secure clasp system analogical to Rolex models from Exp 1 up. - Not going to complain about the rivets - a matter of preference. Size: a great fit for my meagre 16cm wrist. Wish Rolex would churn out Submariners in this size. Wearing comfort: fantastic, comparable to Exp36 - I forget I have this watch on the wrist. Colors: in sunny conditions, especially in direct sunlight or lamplight the gilt comes to front, the watch looks very golden-hued (vide - the last photo). However in majority of other conditions it looks very, very monochromatic. The gilt fades away.     bibbi |
