Royal oak purchase . Need advice
Dear members
I want to ask advice please I have had great success in building nice collection over past 5 years with All out Rolex Mostly all are 40 mm watches except Skydweller blue dial that is 42 mm My wrist size is ~ 7 inches , I am 5 ‘ 11” and weight around 175 pounds I Do not have a local AP boutique so have to go grey Cannot decide on size of the watch Initially I thought 15510 ST blue dial ( 41 mm ) but I am not sure should I consider 37 mm ice blue dial/ blue ??? As I hear AP royal oak wears bigger Please advise !! |

You should consider 15510ST. 15550ST is small for your wrist. Definitely try both on as you're going grey and decide! Let us know

As has been said multiple times, if the Skydweller fits, the 37mm RO will be too small.

First thing first, great collection of Rolex model. Given your spec. I recommend 15510 41mm as 37mm will be bit small. Let us know your final decision.

37mm most likely will be too small.
Go for either Jumbo or 41mm. |

Royal oak purchase . Need advice
Try them both on for sure.
Both will fit but dial color and personal size preferences will likely have you much preferring one over the other One will wear larger like a modern sport watch , one will wear smaller with a classic, dressier feel. I have a 7 inch wrist but I’m 5’9/ 155lbs I preferred the smaller 15550 but with the grey dial which wears larger. The black dial 15510 felt ok from a size perspective but looking at it in my wrist felt like it was all dial / not to my personal preferences. Pic below The 39mm Jumbo is always the best option but you are paying a premium for that perfect size / proportions. ..Explorer, Spring Diver & APRO.. |

We are about exactly the same size. And the 37mm RO is just a little to small on me. The 37mm ROO fits good on me.
The 39mm RO Chrono and 39mm RO QP are perfect. My 41mm ROs are great I love my 15400 on the rubber straps. But the 39mm for me and my 7 inch wrist And the last shot is my 15510ST blue dial. That’s baby blue dial is one of the top blues they make. And the 41m version with the diamond hour markets is sooooooo amazing |

Definitely 41mm for you as I have a smaller 6.5 wrist and shorter than you and felt the 37mm too small when looking at normal distances, not close up shots as that distorts the size and is no indicative of normal viewing distances.

I have a 15510 and a 16202; they really do wear quite differently! The 41mm has that "all dial" look while the Jumbo is just "perfect!" I do love them both; nothing wrong with a 41mm RO! |
