Pentax SLR's

Any of you shutter-bugs out there have any experience with Pentax Digital SLR's? I'm looking to replace my old Nikon point and shoot and I thought I'd go Pentax as I have several K mount lenses from my old 35mm days, which I believe will work on their digital SLR's, albeit with reduced functionality.

Since you have lenses for the Pentax, it seems to be the way to go. Although you can generally get a nice deal on a Canon or Nikon with a couple of useful lenses.

I'm stuck with a bunch of old screw-mount Pentax lenses from the 70's, so for me I would be starting over.

I have the K100D. It's by far the best DSLR I've handled for the money. It's low noise at high ISO is almost unbelievable. Go' for it, you won't regret

If you need a good "all in one lens", I recommend the Pentax 18-250mm, it's not fast (not slow either), but it is very sharp all around.

Generally I suggest you check out the reviews at http://www.dpreview.com
