The world has really taken leave of its senses! A new BLNR just sold at Philips Geneva auction for $25,500! That gives the seller a net of over 19K after Philips clips its 25% buyers premium. A few days ago I saw a White Daytona go for 27K at Sothebies online auction. None of this makes any sense at all.

The financial world is on the precipice of serious 'complications'. So people are looking to put their money in to others assets like rare watches, whisky etc.
Combine that with 'peak Rolex' and you end up with these prices. |

This is what feeds the frenzy. When people see these kinds of prices it turns on the speculative hormones and turns our watch hobby into a penny stock day trading circus.
