What would you do in this situation? EXPLORER 2 ALERT

Hello my dear watch friends..

I am with a dillema for quite some time:
Every time i want to add something cool, a moonwatch, a Panerai, an Explorer 1(i like that one a lot) Yes yes.. I like all of them quite a bit tbh

I own a 114060, a 216570 polar.. I have the sub since 2017 and the polar since june 2018, exactly 2 years now!! The love for my Sub was sort of over since i ''found out the explorer 2'' I still like it, but not the way i once used to like it when i had no sub yet, and it was not so fashionable yet..
But the explorer 2 has since ever grown on me... I like indeed the moonwatch, some pams and indeed also a explorer 1 but is it better than the 216570? No... NOT in my opinion :/ Problem is... I CAN NOT FIND A MORE ATTRACTIVE PIECE!!
What sort of causes me to believe that i am, indeed a 1 watch guy.. On the other hand.. I have no clue! The hobby is fun.. But expensive to
I can easily buy some cool stuff.. But on the other hand.. I simply can't find anything ''better'' to my personal taste than the explorer 2!!

The polar 42 is an amazing watch. Don’t get rid of it, it’s hitting its stride now in popularity and demand, so just enjoy that you have one.

I also have both of those. I actually got the Polar first, but had always planned on getting the 114060 eventually. However, my AD called a few days before my birthday with the sub and I couldn’t resist. I will definitely keep them both forever as they both make a great daily watch.

I'm a 5-digit GMT guy myself, but there are some other Rolex models I do love.

Sea Dweller 116600 (SD4k Ceramic)
Explorer II 216570 (Black Dial)
Sub Date 116610 (Ceramic)

I go back and forth on the white dial vs black dial, but the 42mm Explorer II is definitely on my list. :)

I know this problem very well. Buy a 126710 BLRO Pepsi; this is the watch you´ll never give away! Trust me! It is a cool and stunning pice and since i have one, she gets most of wristtime....

I would love the older pepsi's and prefer it OVER my sub for SURE, but i do not like the extreme high demand on those watches.. I simply will not pay over.. But in my honest opinion, i would still prefer the exp.2 now.. I like the black dial too!!

I own a black dial 216570 from 2017. Does everything I need especially when I travel. Really don't need a Sub as I don't dive anymore.

Trust me...If you get a 6-digit BLRO, you´ll forget the Ex2!!! (I never wanted the new BLRO because of the colours; but this changed with the MKIII)

It’s a great position to be in, to prefer the watch you already have to all others. Enjoy the love affair, and if something better ever comes along you can buy it and it’ll make a great companion to the Explorer II.

Offcourse, some days you can think a bit differently.. But the point is that the explorer 2 Always comes back, or stay at the same level of coolness while another watch i mostly soon dissapearing from my mind again .. I start to believe that i am a 1 watch guy

Hardly a dilemma I would just use your own common sense, I know its hard to do, as today some mainly rely on internet forums instead of there brain power.

I have both in the previous 5 digit models. In my opinion, there is no better pairing.

Forget all the "cool" stuff, just add the black dialed EXP2 and be done with it.

What would you do in this situation? EXPLORER 2 ALERT

I sense the dilemma is you have much money you wish to spend on a watch but have no watch you want to buy because the Expl. II is so cool that you can’t see wearing anything else and want to spend the money so there is nothing better to buy but then there’s what are you wearing threads and you only have one watch to show and then get bored so want to post a different watch but it is not possible until you buy it and then there is no watch better for you than what you have...

Is that it?

Yes.. Exactly the point.. We can name it like this: I don't really need the extra money but i do not really need the extra watch either
What is the watch hobby without at least 3 cool wristwatches?
But still, the explorer 2 is the coolest watch

There may be a time when you do need it. If there’s no clear option and you are content, stay put. Years down the road, they may release something amazing that you want. Or, your taste may change and draw you to another piece.
