Getting A Great White and want a rubber strap…

I’d like a red rubber strap to wear it on. Are the Rubber B’s as good quality as Omega? Anyone have the red Omega strap with the deployant?

Appreciate the video. Does Omega still make the red strap on the deployant?

Going with the Omega strap. Do they still come in red?

Yes, the red rubber strap on deployant is available for purchase on the OMEGA website.

What a great YouTube video (something I rarely say).

Was contemplating a strap from them. No way would I ever consider it now…

RubberB were one of the first third party strap options, but definitely not the best one available today.

I had a GW (switched to explorer II) and couldn’t zero in on a strap I liked. And believe me I tried.

Great White has always been my bridesmaid. I’ve almost pulled the trigger more times than I can count. It’s a really special watch. Like the poster above , if I get the call for a 226570, I doubt I’ll ever own one.

I'm glad you're opting to go with the OEM strap, Shannon. Grateful the video above was posted and in your shoes I would be doing the exact same.

You won't be sorry about getting the Omega strap. They are perfection on that watch. I had it with the black strap and it was the most comfortable strap I've ever owned.

Are you doing the tang/buckle version or deployant?

I have the blank tang strap now. When I order a red strap with the deloyant, I may also order a black one also.

I've had both versions of Omega rubber straps and to me I find the tang strap to be a little more comfortable and the deployant strap to be a little better looking and more convenient. The tang version fit me a little more snug and didn't travel as much as the deployant version, but YMMV.

I’d agree. The tang fits well but I like the appearance and ease of the deployant better.

You could always do what I did and that's install a butterfly deployant on the tang buckle strap. Works great and I like it much better than the OEM deployant.

Which deployant is that? Omega, or another brand? Looks nice!

Long Island Watch, but you can get aftermarket ones just about anywhere.

I bought a Zealande Seamaster strap and installed it on my Moonwatch. They don't expressly say it will work, but the case lugs and diameter are virtually identical, so I decided to chance it. It fit perfectly, wears comfortably and comes with very nice packaging.

I wore it for a while with the tang buckle, then installed a Seamaster clasp. I could not be more pleased with the combination. Zealande offers a wide range of color options and I highly recommend them.

Uncle Seiko is now offering an Omega clone rubber strap that is very inexpensive. No red though.
