The "M", what does it mean?

I've seen reference 14060 for sell sometimes listed as 14060M.

Originally, I thought it meant it was one of the later 14060's with a random serial number. However, I've seen subs advertised as being made much earlier described as 14060M.

What's the story?

Modified, I think. Upgraded movement from 3030 to 3130 in about 1999.

Didn't the 14060 have a 3000 calibre ?

I agree that the "M" series of 14060s ( and contemporary 14000 / 14010 AirKings, 14203M OPs etc ) denoted watches with the later 3130 calibre.

0735 in the morning on 1/2/15 and I've already learned something. Kind of always wondered about that too.
