Lost in mail rolex

I sent my Rolex to Rolex in New York for repair. It was sent by uninsured registered mail and never got there. As a rtesult I am out a $4,000 Rolex. What can I do? Rolex thinks the post office is to blame and the post office thinks Rolex is to blame. What should I do now?

Did you not declare the value as $4000? It only costs about $5 more for the insurance. The USPS should have registered receipt signatures all the way from the point of departure to the point of delivery. Registered mail must be signed for at each hand off. I would ask USPS for this proof and also send the RSC the registered mail number and see if they can help on that end.

If they can't find it and you did not insure it you can consider it tuition to the school of hard knocks. Sorry for your loss hope it works out.
