Longest you have worn one Rolex
I do read stories on the web of some Rolex owners wearing the same Rolex watch (one watch collection) for years and years. Interested how long and which model any posters have worn the same Rolex for a long time.
I have worn a 116200 DJ (with fully brushed bracelet) for 10 years. I did try a 214270 Explorer for a short spell but went back to the DJ as I love the size and it just suits whatever I’m wearing or doing. Interested in any other long term wearing experiences (apologies if this has been asked before) but couldn’t see a thread). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I don't think 10 years is even "long".
I wore a Timex self winding for over 20 years and a TT DJ 36 for another over 20 years. A cousin has a 30+ year old bluesy. I think Trump's DD goes back to the 80's. 10 years is just getting started! |

I have had 11 Rolex since 1984, for the most part just one or two at any given time. The longest I had just one and wore it mostly was a TT Datejust from ‘86-‘93. 2nd place goes to a black dial 116520 from ‘04-‘08. In general I wear all my watches, if they’re collecting dust they move on.

The majority of folks who wear just 1 watch for decades are not on a watch forum. For them watch means just 1 and buy and forget and wear daily. They are not even into watches. Only collectors are into watches and if they are collectors they won't have scenario of wearing same watch for decades.

This is an interesting question…at least for me.
Don’t know exactly….but not as much as others say!!! But maybe a month, I’m assuming if you change and wear for one day other watch in the rotation you start again from ZERO days. Longest time in the rotation maybe 6 months. Anyone else has this same issue???? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

23 years (1978-2001) - Two-tone 16013 Datejust My first nice watch that I bought myself and back when most people only owned one watch.
Then another 14 years (2001-2014) in a two watch rotation with a Speedmaster I gave it to my son, but borrowed it back to take a photo. My Rolex Datejust(600).jpg |

For me it's my Datejust II 116300
It is my first Rolex and I've been wearing it almost daily for about 10 years now, it was pretty beat up at one point but had it serviced in RSC in 2020, came back real strong.

Wore this 16013 from 1989 to 2019. Here's a shot on the new owner's wrist, my daughter. Her grandfather wore it for a couple years before gifting it to me.
