Incoming - 228235

Got the call for the Rolex Day Date 40 228235.

Absolutely beautiful watch and excited to add to the collection, but also had to remind my AD that I’m also interested in stainless models :-) (second precious metal pickup in three months)

First world problems, I know, but if you’re here you get it.

That’s gorgeous Tim. One of the most elegant references available from any brand.

Hell ya, you are due some SS models. I’m looking forward to those incomings as well.

What are you hoping for?

Too funny, right? I would love a GMT Master II, SS Daytona, or even a Oyster.

I think all the precious metal incoming is a signal of the time, with more to follow. Staying optimistic.

Looks great! Good luck with the SS watch. Sounds like you are in a good spot. At this point you might see a Daytona before a BLRO GMT, my AD said they have really been in short supply relatively speaking.

Enjoy

To be brutally honest that is not a call but a good riddance call. Why buy 3 PMs to qualify for SS when you can just go gray and pay far less and get one next day? ADs are overrated.

Depends on the PM models. Some are still trading at retail or better so an AD purchase makes sense (if one wanted to add them anyways)

Other PM’s are obviously softening so that has to be accounted for in the decision making.
