Please help….considering adding rose gold AP diver.

Hi guys

I’m considering adding the limited edition rose gold AP diver to my collection. Any comments or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I understand that it’s a subjective opinion and ultimately up to me. I just like to gather as much information as possible and make an informed decision.

Thank you in advance.

I'll help. I love the AP diver. I love RG watches. AP Diver+RG = Amazing. The math checks out.

Have not seen one in real life, but looks great in pictures. I was looking at ads from Japanese grey dealers on C24 when they were close to MSRP, but those days are gone.

Supposedly the fact that it's still on the website means there's at least one unsold piece floating around in the AP network. If you can get your boutique to track that down, I'll be impressed.

Have you had any diver before? That screw at 11’ clock is annoyingly hurting my wrist. Might take that as a consideration, apart the piece itself is stunning

I have the ceramic AP diver and love it. I know the watch market is crazy right now with all of the major brands way up. Like everyone else, I would hate to buy it and then have a 20-30% market correction… sorry to be captain obvious, just venting.

It depends how much you dive. If you are an avid diver, I would avoid the gold. If you are a casual diver, then it's ok

+1, I have a few friends who have this, I think it looks great in photos but REALLY shines in person. The colorway and blend of RG looks wonderful against the grey.

My wife has it and wears it a lot during the day. I little large for her wrist but she carries it well. Lovely watch.

For AP ROO I would go for 26470OR, it's gorgeous.

Yeah, nothing says subtle elegance like 3/4 pound of rose gold on your wrist. I love the Brick, but as far as AP RG goes it couldn't be more different from the diver.

One thing I can say about having previously owned a rose gold Offshore for over 5 years is that people will stare at your wrist when they talk to you. I found this really irritating which I why I ultimately sold the watch. Other people will love the attention that a gold watch draws and there’s nothing wrong with that, we’re all different.

I had the opportunity to purchase one a couple of years ago, didn't really love it for some reason. Looked a bit bland to me, but I have a two tone 15400 so might be why I felt it would be a bit redundant in the collection.
