Do you think Rolex will introduce new Daytona dials at Watches and Wonders ?

I know there is another thread talking about predictions but I would like to discuss only about new Daytona dials.
So what do you think guys ?

Didn’t they retire the WG/blue and the YG/green? I would think something to replace those and get the TRF faithful in a lather makes sense. A SS in a “color” other than white and black? History says no…

No last years move. Maybe they throw out one gem that won’t be available to stoke the fire

I hope they don't.

I like Rolex's conservatism.

I wish Rolex would only take-part in Watches and Wonders once every three years.

I don't want loads of new product every year.

This year I hope we get a repeat of the internet's reaction to 2022's releases; "Yawn," "Rolex are so boring," "Rolex can't remember how to innovate." All that jazz.

So I hope for zero changes to the Daytona, Sub, and GMT lines. Maybe a few new Datejust dials. That'd be great.

(I have no idea why I feel this way, but I do.)

More Daytona Dials and changes year after year will dilute the brand's model which is the antithesis of what they stand for. Buuuuuut yet again, Rolex continues to surprise the industry (for better or for worse) with the moves they make so whoooo knowwwsss...

We had a wooden car when I was little, had a wooden steering wheel, wooden seats, and wooden wheels … problem was it wouldn’t drive …

I get what your saying....I kind of agree...mechanical watches don't need to be like iPhones, we don't need new upgrades and colors every year and constant new dials and colors and such. Look at some of the most wanted and desired watches and you will see they are the watches that have long life spans with very little changes made to them.

Highly unlikely in my opinion. After last years major revamp I wouldn't of thought there's going to be any changes so soon, but what do I know!

Perhaps for some diversity in the gold models.

Maybe some baguette-cut colorful gems as hour markers.

Also, open up the WG Cerachrom bezeled model to dial choices. When the Le Mans model was released, the exotic throwback dial became the only dial available on a WG/Ceramic model.

Agree and hopeful they add the ceramic bezel to the PM models with the full bracelet (or add a bracelet to the PM models on flex strap).

1.5 weeks and we’ll know.

the mock ups for ceramic bezels on PM daytonas look horrible every year these threads show up. would look ok on the wg models but looks really cheap on the yg/rg models. i would be very surprised if they ever did that tbh

That seems likely. I saw another thread on TRF that people were getting more PM Daytonas on OF from the ADs (126...) after a short wait time. Hmmm, are the ADs thinning out these in preparation for a PM Daytona with ceramic dial on a full bracelet like the Platona?

They are getting the call for Pm Daytona because there is less demand. It is not selling above msrp anymore. Only the 126500ln and the lemans are not at msrp. Even the platona is almost msrp and being delivered by AD as first purchase.

There will be more demand for PM Daytonas on OF as the grey market price of a 126500ln approaches the MSRP price of a PM Daytona on OF.

The 126500ln will drop in price or stay at 28k like it already is and won’t approch the msrp price of pm on oysterflex. Covid time is over
