After years of waiting, I got my hands on a 5205G, my first Patek.

Pairing it with my RO… a lot of blue, but it’s a great combo. In person it’s even better than I thought it would be. Photos don’t do the watch justice.

Congrats. Beautiful watch. I don't own a Patek and I have considered that one as well. Refuse to pay the insane Nautilus/Aquanaut prices in the current era.

I will be honest, I hope to add an Aquanaut in the future. But the 5205G is a superior watch in almost every way. I believe in 30 years we will look back with disbelief how these PM complicated watches were seen as less desirable than steel non complicated watches.
