Incoming SD43 From Southwestern Ontario, Canada
I had been calling my AD every week after seeing the SD43 incoming from one of our beloved members Brian earlier this month. Brian did mention that the Rolex boutique gets the SD43 first, and regular AD would get them later. I had put a deposit down, and I was also first on the list, but the wait was killing me :).
Yesterday my AD called me to let me know that my SD43 will arrive today. I couldn’t sleep last night at all. I woke up early today and drove 2 hours to pick up my watch, but it was all worth it once I put it on my wrist. My birthday is also in 2 days. I asked my AD to put June 01 on the warranty card, and he gladly agreed. This watch will be very special to me, and it wears so nice and balance on my 6.5-inch wrist. It was really nice of my AD to give me a traveling pouch and cloth for every Rolex watches that I purchased from him. Here are some of the pictures for you to view. My AD also having a 2017 Basel Pre-Release Cocktail Event this Friday, would it be weird if I was to wear my new SD43 to this event, since the display piece will be there, and I will probably be the only person in the room to wear the real thing. Very nice! Our local AD had one to try on only at a recent BaselWorld event and said there was already a wait list 4 deep; they have none yet. It looks great.

 Congratulations!! Very nice. As for the Rolex party, you might find people may ask to try on your watch and you might be stressed taking it off to try other models. If you don't care about that, wear it, you'll have a conversation piece for sure!

I think your AD would be disappointed if you didn't wear your new watch and praise the service you received from him/her.
I'm quite surprised you were able to get this watch so soon. The AD has looked after you on all accounts.
