Rolex Prices

Hi all,

I have just been looking through the Rolex brochure as you do

I got to the Daytona section and could not believe what I saw...

There is a Rolex Daytona on croco strap ref. 116599 RBR down at £59,470.- It has got round cut diamonds on the bezel and pave diamond dial.

I look at the watch next to it; Daytona 116599 TBR on croco with sqaure cut diamonds which appear to have no gaps between and it puts the price up by a WHOPPING 21K!! Retail on the watch is £80,440.- ouch!! Why should a different diamond cut put the price up by £20K?

If anybody can explain to me why them diamonds are worth so much more please doo!!! I understand its a harder cut to do but £20K? Sorry if I have blabbed on but that shocked me

Dino
