A Lange Datograph Perpetual
Hi friends! Just wondering what everyone’s opinions are between the white gold and platinum (discontinued) variants of this piece?
I personally prefer the look of the two tone gray with silver subdials on the WG version but typically I feel like platinum variants are more coveted than gold…? Is that not the case with this reference? Curious what everyone’s favorite is between these two? |

I have the platinum tourbillon version and it’s one of my favorite watches in my collection
I think it works best with a dark dial personally |

I’d personally go with the two-tone gray WG version. Mainly because of better legibility and contrast of the subdials. I have a 1815 chrono WG with black dial, and I sometimes have difficulty reading the time. Not a big issue but it’s there.
