Thought I'd come out of the shadows and introduce myself
I've been lurking on this great site for the past month and finally thought I'd say "Hi". I've been a Paneristi since 1999 (the good old days when I bought my first - a PAM 29B for all of $1800 brand new) and have owned probably 12 different Panerai over the years. I received my first Rolex as a gift upon graduation from medical school 10 years ago -- it was my fathers gold day-date that I had admired as a child due to its complications and the cool sweep hand. Fast forward 10 years and now my wife and I are going to be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. As a gift she would like to buy me a watch of my choice, and after much deliberation I've decided upon the new 42mm Explorer II polar. Hopefully in the next couple of months I'll be posting some pics of the new and the old. Anyway thanks for having a great site, and I look forward to reading more posts.
