Your Information Is Needed - Help Me Out
I'm looking to purchase a pre-owned rolex but don't know much about them. I have read information on this forum and have learned a lot. I found a nice submariner on preownedorlex.com but am confused about the grade.
This is a copy of the listing: NEW LISTING Rolex Submariner 14060m-2005 model This is a Rolex Stainless steel model 14060m from the 2005... The watch is impeccable. The case, movement, and flip-lock oyster bracelet are 100% genuine Rolex. Sapphire crystal and keeps great time and has been tested for water security--all 12 links in the band so it fits a full-size wrist. Boxes and papers are included . Grade one minus Price $2955 Is this a good price and is a grade one minus good? Your information is appreciated. Thanks in advance, Dan |

Hi Dan,
The description seems good, but I think it best you give us the source from where you wish to acquire this Sub....and, of course, some pics!! That would really help us help you better. Cheers - JJ

Only you can decide
"Preownedrolex.com" equals Cayce and Patton, two outstanding, stand up, trustworthy people whom I've personally done business with. On their web site is the interpretation for their own grading system, and only you can decide if their evaluation and price works for you.
If you're worried about price, then you'll have to do some homework and compare prices from various other web vendors and perhaps a brick and mortar place as well. A web search will give you more Rolex outlets than you can count, so happy hunting. What you don't have to worry about with this particular merchant is integrity. I bought a one-minus YM from him last year and I'd say the condition was better than I expected. Another member of this site also recently asked for feedback on Cayce for a Sub or SeaDweller, and then made a point of thanking us for the recommendation when he received his watch from Cayce. Good luck. |

I know the exact watch you are looking at there at Timekeepers. I visit the site almost daily.
Several of us purchased Rolexes from him in the last month or so. I bought a "P" Sub no-date in "One-" condition. What that means is that the watch is virtually, just not actually, brand new. You will be very happy dealing with Cayce. Guarenteed. I got the boxes, papers, and all the trinkets that normally come with a new Rolex, which I have purchased before. Honestly, with the quality of Timekeeper's pieces, I don't think I'd ever buy brand new again. |

I've been looking at no date subs recently and that's a pretty good price... as well. I've been seeing them in the $3200-3500 range.

I've corresponded with Cayce while looking for an SD, and he's an honest man.

I just bought a Rolex from them. They seem to be quite good. I'm just awaiting my new toy. :-)
