Anyone prefers BLNR over BLRO?

Availability and price aside does anyone prefer Batman over Pepsi?

Had a chance to try both yesterday side by side and actually liked Batman a bit better. Black and Blue colors on it are much brighter and more striking, while Pepsi’s blue and red seem somewhat washed out…

Of course I do as I owned both and repurchased the BLNR.

Here are some detailed views on both models and why I went BLNR again.

Yep. I picked the BLNR. I think the blue and black looks better, and also makes more sense from a day (blue) and night (black) perspective.

The red and blue is also too loud to me.

I have bought both and prefer BLNR.

Whilst I actually prefer the idea of red and blue, Rolex still hasn’t been able to execute it perfectly in ceramic (pink / purple hues more than proper blue and red). Whereas the blue and black they have.

At this price point I find accepting a compromise in finish a bit underwhelming, so happier with my BLNR which is just spot on.

I also prefer the BLNR on jubilee and BLRO on oyster (the busier bezel should have the less busy bracelet!) so I am a bit of a contrarian I suppose.

it's really personal preference for the color. sometimes for watches, you buy more than just the color.

Once you have a Pepsi, you will get it. BLRO over BLNR, but I have and love both.

That begs the questions: if by a mile then why the need for both? Aren't they the same watch, just different color bezel? You wouldn't keep 2 cars in the same scenario, right? I mean, if we are talking "a mile".....

I owned 14 modern Rolex’s and the BLNR on jubilee is the only one that stuck. I am pretty sure I could have got the BLRO at some point, but I just love the blue on the BLNR so much!

Wow this was a great review and photos my Mystro. Your photos are a big reason I own the BLNR today. It is one watch that looks great in both photos and real life.

Anyone prefers BLNR over BLRO?

I sure do prefer the BLNR. Red really isn’t a colour I ever choose to wear and the blue and black of the BLNR not only matches all my clothing so much more so but it also makes sense in terms of identifying day and night way more than red and blue does.

It’s also the only watch I’ve ever sold and re purchased which has to be the ultimate complement

I have both. Like both and can’t go wrong with either. However, if one had to go it would be the BLNR.

I prefer the BLNR a lot more, but that doesn’t mean I dislike the BLRO.

Amongst modern, yes. I’d take a minty matte dial 16750 over either of them but if only talking current production, I do prefer the BLNR. Better colorway and the colors work better with the GMT function too.

Alrity then.

If a BLRO trumps a BLNR,

Does a BLRO (16710) Trump a BLNR (126710)?

Kinda like a 2LT outranks a Chief Master Sgt.

I definitely prefer the Batman/Batgirl. If a watch doesn't sing to you once on the wrist, it's a better match for someone else's.

BLNR my favorite

Own both and prefer BLNR....interestingly I've noticed that people who are not Rolex officiandos and not subject to the hype always seem to prefer the BLNR as well...

BLNR for me. Both are fantastic pieces but I see the BLRO as a more solidly casual type wear watch and BLNR as being more versatile in terms of causal or business wear.

Of course, there are no rules and the only difference is a small piece of color

VLNR gets limited wrist time. BLRO is more flashy and is in the middle relative to time. BLNR has been in the collection for over 10:years and gets the most time of the gmt group. Daytona’s get the most.
