Just a bit confused... as I know these are hard to obtain...! What numbers do you have / sold out of interest? |
I’m sure you will appreciate that the demand is such that post initial sales point anyone is paying around double plus the RRP to secure one.
As with Daytona’s and other steel sports or Patek 5711 they are premium watches and sometimes buyers either chose to sell them because of gain or because they no longer want them and sadly the store they buy them from won’t buy them back!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Fair enough, but I know for a fact that these are now all being monitored and tracked, Harrods have a list of which number are sold and to who. I heard someone managed to buy 4, 91 92 93 94 and had no plans on keeping them.. greed is a nasty thing, that stopped 4 real collectors getting on at a realistic price. Shame really. |
Perhaps when Harrods changed the game from just 99 to several thousand the music stopped!

I’ve had a number 1, a number 2, and a 69

Maybe... but you are still trying to sell for over £6k... so it aint stopped that much! LOL
They wont be produced in the thousands....! |

Be a good Conversation to have, ‘Hi. You know that watch we sold you as an exclusive and limited model?’ ‘Yes’ ‘Well we are gonna make loads more now and if you sell yours we will not sell you another imaginary limited edition’ ‘Ok’ And on the subject of collectors. Most collect things of value or things that go up in value. So the collectors, that brought them who might be quite rightly disappointed with the news, are now selling which is a shame. A real Shame for those who wanted something limited and exclusive that looks like it will be mainstream! That said it still falls into the same category as Rolex Daytona, Patek 5711, funky Porsche’s etc in that if you want one you gotta pay over the odds. Supply and demand!! I can’t seem to edit the last post just to say Tudor asked me if I received a call could I pick the piece up the same day?
So adds a little more hope for the future,, Again fingers crossed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Yup... fair point! Harrods have handled this all wrong from the off... we shall see how many get produced, number 270 is out already, but the numbers are not coming from Rolex in order... its a total farce!

With all all due respect. People miss out on many things in life because of capitalism. I’d sure love to own a Picasso, I’m a real art collector. I have a passion for art that is very strong. Perhaps more than many people who hang them in a room in their mansion that they never actually enter. I’d love to fly in a private jet instead of having to fly with 300 other smelly people but sadly the cost is driven up by wealthy people who are willing to pay more than I am. I remember when I was a kid my favorite baseball player in the whole wide world was Ken Griffey Jr. I was totally obsessed. All I wanted was his 1989 upper deck rookie card. My family did not have a lot of disposable income and because of the hype at the time the baseball card was very expensive. More than we could pay. Man I wanted that card. I don’t ever recall spouting off at the dealers at card shows for buying every box/set to pull the Griffey card and sell it for a huge premium. Of course I was only 7 so maybe I didn’t know any better... For the record I’m not thrilled about serial flippers or gray dealers charging crazy prices. But I certainly can not judge someone for legally making a profit. It’s just not in my DNA as a business owner and entrepreneur. Truth be told I’m getting a little tired of people being so up in arms about “flippers” and gray dealers. Rant over. :smokin: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Just thought I would post some pics taken of our B.B. Harrods that I collected on Thursday and very lucky to get one within the first 160 pieces,,
It’s a lovely watch albeit a much heavier bracelet then my dj2s oyster, I grab so much better pics soon, Attachment 928063 https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...650c56b3cf.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...117ac06e0f.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...dea6378487.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
That watch is SO great looking! Congrats!
|
Beautiful watch. Will they ship to the US?
|
Nice watch but I'm not sure I like all these special editions for specific dealers. The Bucherer Blue bronze is another one and I know more shops that are working one a collaboration between Tudor and their shop
I don't see why Tudors does the effort to make these. Besides, too much is too much. It would be better if Tudor once in a while made a special edition For example a Black Bay Tantalum ... 2000 pieces Wouldn't that be great :-) I really prefer the watches they made without co-branding. Best example right now the the ETA Black Bay Black bezel. A fantastic watch, as good as impossible to find end from another era due to the ETA inside. This is imo something better to hunt for than getting on the list for another slightly modified one made for a big shop |

Hiya Tomalf Basically no they will not ship or post out so if you live in the west coast of Scotland and get the call then it’s travel all the way to Knightsbridge and collect the piece or miss out So pretty sure they won’t send abroad but I am not 100% on that but defo no posting in the UK Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
