Or was it Lisa's neighbor? :chuckle:

She's my neighbor, Paulie. I gave her the website and she may be a lurker. Would you believe I haven't asked her if she is? Since we moved I haven't seen her - though we do email.

Come on guys and gals... I'm starting to get sheepish over here. Oops, no sheep references allowed. That's JJ's private domain. Speaking of JJ and sheep...

Seriously, I appreciate your efforts and concern. I'm like most single guys, I fill the void with career and expensive toys... like, ummmm, watches for one  I wish that were it though. I've got TMS syndrome for sure. I work some crazy hours and between TRF, work, eats and sleep, my days are pretty full. I'm working on getting a life and, with some luck (and maybe some TRF help) better days are in my future. Ok, I'm starting to feel like a charity case. Carry on...

Well, shoot - so much for my idea! You are just no fun at all! :chuckle::chuckle::chuckle:

abigsecret 5 January 2008 01:53 PM

Haha, looks like I've missed out on a lot of fun here!:chuckle:
Djees, this must be the fastest growing thread around!
And, it's still an interesting read, no just-smilies-posts! At least when JJ stays out of here!:dummy:

Today work was crazy! I hate it when I get back from a weekend, looks like nobody works when I'm not around??:banghead:

This morning at 7:30am I was working out at the physical therapist, no fun at all! Staight after that I went to work, and I just got home at 8:10pm.... Long day! But you know what, coming home to this thread makes it all better! I really love you all!:clov:

Lisa 5 January 2008 02:25 PM

We love you, too, Mireyna.

Hope your physical therapist is helping you - owch. My mind's eye imagines a big woman named Helga twisting hapless victims' arms and legs every which way.... yikes!

Have you ever been married, Pat? Any kids? Nosy, I know!

Nope, mine's a handsome young man (mid-30's) named Cory!
(I hope my husband doesn't read this all behind my back )

Cory is been helping me for a long time, and he's really good at what he does! Except that he is compassionless :banghead: and makes me work my butt off!

There has been some confusion about the true author of this abomination. Let's just say, "Master the Buddha Palm and that which you seek will master you no longer, young grasshopper"... Clear enough?

Well, what's going on over here this morning, everyone? I really am having my cuppa now - just finished my first of the day. Starbuck's holiday blend. Nice and dark and strong. Had to sleep in the extra bedroom last night with baby Violet - hubby was snoring and snoring! I was all, "hey, hey - you're snoring...." and he was all, "sssknnnxxxxnxxxnnxxxnx!!!" and I was all, "shh... turn over..." and he was all, "ssskkknxxxknnxxxsssxxxkxxxx!!!" So I left.

kcmo 6 January 2008 12:59 AM

Morning gals! Gee, Lisa, sounds like a rough night for you! LOL! Did you poke him in the ribs? Fortunately my hubby doesn't snore often, but when he does, HE'S GONNA GET POKED!

Sigh. Poking is futile. He can sleep through anything.

Hmmmm:thinking: What about the Breathe Right strips? Worth a try?

abigsecret 6 January 2008 01:14 AM

Good morning ladies!
I just push my husband so hard, that he eventually turns onto his side....
It's funny you're talking about this, because I had just bought my hubby these strips to stick on his nose, supposebly they're for nasal congestion, but also helpful to get rid of noring.... NOT, his snoring was even louder, and more obnoxious!:thumbsdow

Lisa 6 January 2008 01:39 AM

My husband uses those strips, and they work unless he has a cold or allergies. Lately, all they do is AMPLIFY the snoring. Now I'm cranky.... he's still lying blissfully asleep, and I've been up since 4:30! No sleeping late with three little ones... Round about 10am he'll come wandering into the kitchen asking what's for breakfast....:chuckle:

Incurable 6 January 2008 02:16 AM

Snore or snoring... now that's a funny word. Not so funny if you have to listen to it. Sorry for your rough night, Lisa. I wonder what the statistics are for snoring? Luckily, I do not.

Maybe you'll find a moment to catch a 'power nap' today. I must confess, I'm guilty of that. You're coffee sounds good.. I guess I need to go visit my personal mocha-maidens up the street and get my twice daily evil 16 oz. triple shot, lots-o chocolate, no whipping mocha. Actually, they're not mine, per se, but I allow myself that little fantasy. Too bad the major bux I spend on them isn't a fantasy.

May your day get better, Lisa. I'm off to indulge myself...

Note to self: Hmmm... and he's also a non-snorer.... add 10 more points....

Yes, but how does Pat really know if he snores or not?

There must be something in the air, because I've been having the same problem with my hubby. Plus, I'm a light sleeper to begin with, so it's futile. We have the breathe right strips, and now a nasal allergy spray - neither help much. Some nights it's just - wake up, elbow in the ribs (repeat several times)!

Why don't women snore? Hmmm...

Oh contraire... they DO, believe me. As far as knowing whether I snore or not, I may be single but I'm not a virgin... :chuckle: To answer Lisa's question (finally), yes I've been married and no, no kids... much to my mother's disappointment. Yep, old guys still have mothers who treat them as though their young and need motherly instruction. Once a mom, always a mom... :dummy:

Actually I don't mind, my mom's one of a kind and a pretty special person.
