Not quite a whiskey but of possible interest.
When my uncle closed his off licence in London he gave my dad a bottle of green Chartreuse. It sat on the shelf for years and as my father was not a drinker and no one fancied drinking it fast forward, I somehow became the custodian after both my parents died. Very cool find and even better family connection. Pretty cool that monks still make it. My favorite beer can’t make that claim anymore (ABT12).
