I was a chef and retired young thanks to the previous generation being very smart. Now I am helping him sell his collection. 33 years ago that same person gave me a stainless steel date just as a graduation gift. I am just now contemplating upgrading it to a VC as I have soured on the Rolex brand for a variety of reasons. Currently my daily is a large blue Santos.
