One of the more tasteful Collections ive seen. Based off of that I would consider you to be a sane and well balanced individual. Unlike all the other Rolex bros who, out of 12 watches have 12 rolexes. Those I would not hire or trust one bit.

Thank you very much. Most likely a silver dial Datejust 41 with a fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet.

I definitely want a silver or white dial since I have 3 dark color watches.

Cartier Santos or Tank could be a possibility, but I run and hot cold with Cartier. I could go months really liking Cartier, and then I could go months not liking them at all. Same goes for Nomos.

Cool (both the watch and article)! Love that style, my only disappointment is that the majority of the current, sub-$600 watches modeled after it have grown to at least 38mm, or are quartz.

Closest I've found are pieces from MWC and Timex at 36, but know little about the former (and too much about the latter, lol).

totally agreed. but these 70s and 80s ones are still pretty available if you poke around! prices a bit higher than what’s referenced in the article but I reckon should still be under 1,000.
