cruvon - this is a great list ... here's some "*" power ...

I've bought both a 5513 and 7928 from #1 Mark Lerman - clean and honest representation of condition and RSC edits, if any.

I bought a 1016 from #7 Jacek with a dial to die for, and he later sent me the correct bracelet end pieces, and slot card for the box, at no cost when I asked about them. Friendly, knowledgeable, and has wonderful watches.

Got a Snowflake from #9 Derek, again clean and proper watch as represented. Great guy.

#10 coolvintage is John Putnam, also a knowledgeable chap who sold me an ancient Zenith chrono that hasn't run well but he's given a 1 year warranty and invited it back to his watchmaker. Great watch, fair price, proper information, and standing behind a very old movement - so no complaints.

#11 Zaf is a correspondent of mine and I have bought his published reference book on JLC. He runs the finertimes.com board where he helps any and all visitors with valuation questions. Zaf is a great resource for vintage watches, and repairs.

Thanks, also the star referals sound great, now to find one more referal for them:) before I put a star on!!

cruvon 27 June 2011 10:22 AM

Guys, one more referal for the guys in ezinternet 's list so can put in green stars:)!!

Just to recap the green star note, a green (*) against a dealers name indicates that atleast 2 forumers have purchased vintage watches from a dealer here, have received them and are happy. So if atleast 2 of you have purchased a vintage watch from any of the dealers in the list, have received it and are happy with the purchase please say so here so can update the dealers name with a green (*).

cruvon 15 July 2011 12:26 PM

Thanks guys, more references for sellers please before I put in those green stars...just to recap, to refer a seller you should have purchased a watch from one of the sellers(doesn't include watch parts, need a minimum of 2 references from different forum members here to put in a green star), received it in condition promised and very happy with the seller.

cruvon 28 July 2011 06:18 PM

Bump, any more seller references before I collate them for green stars?:)

HL65 28 July 2011 07:14 PM

One follow up to this list...Have bought multiple watches from Jedly1--Jed is one of the best sellers as well. His watches are mint and he is a 100% straight shooter! Highly recommend him to anyone and everyone!!!

marcel78 29 July 2011 12:30 AM

I have bought 2 watches (SMP, DJ 16620) from Rick and have a couple repaired/waterproofed. Always helpful to get thoughts sorted out to get the right watch.

Hi guys, list updated with green stars, note that I have only updated if you mentioned you bought a watch/watches from a seller as stated in footnote below for adding green stars. So if you've not explicitly said so let me know and will update. Also need update for Andrew Shear who has 2 references but no mention if watches were purchased. Other sellers referred to have one reference each, so let me know. Have added a "Purchase reference list" below to specify the forumers who stated they purchased from each seller who got green stars.

1) Mark Lerman (mark@webstorm.com) [*]
2) Jed aka Jedly1(http://www.thetimetraveler.co/) [*]
3) Erik Ku (http://10pastten.com/) [*]
4) Steve Mulholland (http://www.mulhollandtime.com/)
5) Mike wood (Www.theoldwatchshop.com )

A green (*) against a dealers name indicates that atleast 2 forumers have purchased vintage watches from a dealer here, have received them and are happy. So if atleast 2 of you have purchased a vintage watch from any of the dealers in the list, have received it and are happy with the purchase please say so here so can update the dealers name with a green (*).Also note that a single forumer purchasing 2 or more watches from a seller will be considered as one reference and not two.

NB: While this list serves to collate all vintage watch dealers forumers have possibly dealt with (from fellow forumers comments above) in one place, it in no way is a measure of the quality/originality of the watches that are on sale with them. Please conduct your own due diligence before you make any purchases by asking questions on the forum, posting pictures, getting references, etc. Also please notify us of any concerns and if the forumers agree I can take them off this list.

Purchase Reference list:
Mark Lerman (ezinternet,cruvon)
Jedly (Steelerfan65,bb3188)
Eric Ku (ddrees,steelerfan65)
