Looks good on the other OEM strap that came in the box as well, which by the way is much softer.

Very NICE

Patrick, Congrats on the beautiful piece! And you're right....pure DNA!! Enjoy it buddy!

psv 14 December 2011 07:13 AM

Yeah, it is not that I can't swing it, it is just that I personally that large watches becomes a bit clown-ish and lacks class. Hence, this is a very subjective feeling. Oh well, perhaps I should stop trying to buy Panerai, it never quite works out... ;-)

Great piece! congrats.

p, it looks great, but if you arent sure it is a keeper, then wise to move it out. i dont think it would last long on any of the watch forums.

but do give it a little more time to grow on you!

Hi Patrick, can you take a few photos of the glass? I hear it is like the 233?

dukerules 15 December 2011 06:31 AM

First off, congrats. The 372 is an amazing piece. I personally think it is one of the best things Panerai has ever done. They just nailed everything on this one. Only you can tell if it's a keeper. For me, it would be the perfect "only" Panerai.

bugawako 15 December 2011 07:21 AM

Congrats!

btinl 15 December 2011 08:41 AM

The 372 looks great. Congrats!

I get the concern but for what it's worth....the thought of clown-ish or tacky didn't cross my mind for a second while looking at your pics & I share the same viewpoint on the subject of overly large watches. Very sharp!:cheers:

I know... I just have a hard time getting used to a piece like this. The style and quality is very compelling, it is just so darn big!? I keep looking at the wrist or in the mirror and it just doesn't add up...

Hi Patrick, thanks for the pics. Was abt to fall asleep till I read this post. Now I'm wide awake and going to send another email to my 372 seller to check on my order. May I know what's the hood-looking item in the plastic bag? After you open the box? TIA.

Simple does it best. Super base!

dennis_said 29 December 2011 02:58 AM

Beautifully simplistic

The boutique threw in a nice little schwag gift in the form of a beanie/hat

Sad to inform y'all that I actually already moved the piece. It is simply too big IMO. Even if I'm fortunate that I don't need to wear a suit and tie on a daily basis for my office environment I do find this piece to be too large/attract too much attention to my wrist. I wore it to some business meetings and it felt comically big and I felt too conscientious about the whole thing. Even if I'm not a small person at 6'1"/185 cm I feel that anything over 44mm is just too big my taste and style.

Having said that, this is certainly one of the most attractive models Panerai has put out and I'd recommend it to anyone who is seriously thinking about it.
