Thanks Dan! To be honest, you were the inspiration in getting me to put my watches on leather/nylon, not to mention my fondness for Tudor. Can't help but be inspired by the awesome combinations that you display.

I'm honored.

Yes this can be done, but in my opinion it should not be done. Just like I don't think WG dials should go on SS Daytonas. Keep it original.

IMHO, Rolex needs to realize that not everyone wants a bracelet.

I can see your point on the dials. Reserve the ultra cool ones for the heavy metals, but give us non-bracelet fans some options in the Rolex world.

I'm thinking of ordering a leather strap from Hodinkee. Anyone ever had one that could comment on it or give a review?

Thanks.

i personally like the contrast of the leather strap with the white dial it gives it more contrast than the SS bracelet. . .

Love this look. Jst wondering what year is this daytona? Coz I think this is not a current look right? If they had this now, would've bought one as well

Anyone got pics of a TT on a strap?

You guys are making me fall in love with the Daytona. My birthday is tomorrow. Someone ought to send me one to "test" for the next 20 years :-)

The Daytona story. (Mondani) pocket guide is much cheaper.
