Nah.. wear it as often as you like. That's what it's for.
I don't wear mine (36) enough..! |

I wear my DJII blue stick all the time- never feels that dressy to me.

Datejust is a perfect everyday watch
That watch dresses up jeans/T-shirt and becomes the focal point of the outfit...IMO

Wear it everyday without fail for a month. Then decide if you feel it is too dressy for certain occasions going forward. My guess is that you will get used to seeing it on in all situations and will feel totally comfortable with it. Great watch. Enjoy it to the max.

I wear this in shorts and t-shirt although not every day as I rotate with other watches… so no, not too dressy.

I think Datejusts are perfectly versatile to wear as a daily
All Rolex models, except Cellini, are suitable for every style and everyday wear.
I feel my DJ is too dressy for my everyday :( I’m thinking of down grading to a Tudor so I don’t feel bad about scratches etc, and buy a “vintage” Rolex for dressing up a little
I got the same one it's really nice
The datejust size is 36, imho :), so the 41 could be classified as "sporty" ;)
I actually prefer to wear my DJ with more casual clothing.....love wearing it with sweats actually
I love mine in a train, on a plane. I love mine with green eggs and ham…
I think Datejusts are perfect watches for everyday wear.

Just dress fancy on the daily

Datejust is not a dress watch.
It is just Classic line sports watches in Rolex. :) Rolex is just Rolex.(not high-end watches.) https://www.instagram.com/tv.classical/ |
There's a lot of iterations of the DJ as we know, with fluted bezel & jubilee & 2-tone, i'd say it is a bit dressy for everyday wear
DJ always in fashion, casual or dress. Wear it and enjoy
Not too dressy as long as you don’t live on the beach or a farm.
Nice watch. |
It’s a classic. Whatever you wear with it will always work. Dress down or up. I wear a DD40 as a daily no problem.

Beautiful DJ. I don't wear my TT Sub daily, only at the weekend or when going out. It's not because it's too dressy, I actually wear a proper dress piece on rotation during the week at the office. It's just that I find TT too blingy for daily wear. To me, TT is a great complement to the more understated SS and other white metals.
Not bad for a dresser or non-dresser!
Whether you think it’s too dressy or not, you’re right! I wear my TT DJ41 Wimbledon with T-shirts/shorts/sandals when I watch my 6yr-old son play tennis, and also with my business attire when meeting corporate clients. You will enjoy it the most when YOU matter more than IT. [emoji1][emoji108]

I'd wear it as a daily out side the house. I wouldn't wear for activities like camping/yardwork, that's for a sub or a gshock.
You got it, you’ve got to love it
no way! Rock it allllll the time
My first Rolex was a TT Serti Sub, slate dial with blue sapphires and diamond markers. I wore it all the time. It was dress sporty. The DJ is classy stylish and will look good in a suit or with shorts. Go for it!
