As we say the friends above, finally in majority: Official Distributor.

With grey, you pay more, you'll never be 100% sure it's a real one and you lose a bit of the pleasure of acquiring it, especially since you're not in a process of accumulation but a purchase to mark an important moment in your life.
You should have it very soon!!

PS : I'm looking to trade my 126613LB (Bluesy) for a 126711 (Rootbeer) :chuckle: Not 100% sure but i'm thinking about it !

Hope that trade will be with an Official Distributor or you will never be 100% it’s a real one.

Just sayin

Mine was 4 months from an authorised dealer in the UK. I’m against paying over MSRP, so I personally wouldn’t go grey.

That said if I 100% had to have it now, the only option is to go grey. I’d still put myself on the AD list and then move the grey on once the AD came through.

A beauty.

Don't pay over MSRP, thus not gray dealer.

I had my mind on getting a TT Sub, but I was kind of skeptical because i) Yellow gold is not my preference ii) I do not dive iii) Almost impossible to decide between the blue or black :chuckle:.

I have no problem with the "grey market" and I respect all professionals.. But I cannot see myself buying from a grey dealer.. There is not rush on buying the watch, and in general I do not rush when I buy pricey items.. If I would need to wait 2-5 months it is not a problem.. Thanks!

This would be the ideal situation, Patrick. Hopefully one can pull it off without any additional AD BS or baggage.

As others are saying, the wait on a Root Beer is not going to be impossibly long. As much as I love the Root Beer, not everyone likes the brown/black combo, and there's still a bit of a stigma against two-tone watches. But, along with the two-tone, black dial, Daytona, the Root Beer is about the best two-tone implementation I've seen.

The problem with going grey is not so much the prices (I've seen secondary market prices as low as around the $18k mark....well within my "convenience" premium if I wanted one right away).

It's just that with a two-tone bracelet, you might get scuff marks and scratches on the middle (rose gold) links of the bracelet. So something to think about.

I have now had a root beer for 4 years.

Excellent watch. The demand is not as high as other models because many people feel they dont have the complexion for it. I personally think it would look good on anyone but to each their own!

If you want to build up expectations, go to ads, join wait lists, and play the game. You will be happier when you finally get the piece. If you are impatient, go gray. I'm sticking with ad because I want to play a long game and build up relationships that could lead to more pieces.

A not very welcoming female SA at a Tourneau flat out said "Impossible". I had a good chuckle. Picked one up a week later from my regular AD.
Stunning watch. The Everose PCL are chameleons. The "zing" on the bezel turning in the light will have you starring at the watch instead of your dinner date :agree:

Great story and congratulations! Exactly how it should be. Oddly this is a piece that I had no interest in when it came out and recently started to pay attention to it when I gained interest in possibly acquiring a two-tone piece as my final watch in the collection.

If you are willing to be patient, I would go the AD route at MSRP. You may get it in a month, or may have to wait 6 months...but it will definitely come if you put a little effort in to talk with a few ADs. I suggest you don't rely on one AD, but talk to a few locally if possible.

Call around...that's what I did...and I found mine in under a month.

I didn’t know you can call ADs out of state. I thought you had to walk into an AD to be put in a list that people said doesn’t really exist?
