This is my modest collection at the moment. Plus an Apple Watch series 3 but nobody wants to see that! Clearly I’m a fan of divers.
The TAG was purchased in 2003 for my engagement. Was worn pretty much constantly (including wedding, honeymoon and birth of my children) until 2017 when I purchased an Apple Watch.
The datejust was late 2018 for my fortieth. Was a toss up between that and the rhodium version and a black explorer ii. Exp ii wasn’t singing to me then, wrapped in stickers but it does now and especially the new version without the phantom hands.
I then purchased a 114060 in feb 2019 from a respected dealer in the new forest and loved it.
The seamaster July 2020 was a toss
Up between it, the white version and the black bay gmt. Date issues with the Tudor put me off at the time but it’s still a watch I’d love to own and hope to do so.
The 116610 was traded for the 114060 in jan of this year. I love the symmetry of the ND but ultimately as I was wearing it so much the lack of date was an issue. Had I been able to grow my collection as intended when I purchased the ND I’d still own it now.
The future? I’d love a GMT of some kind. Either black bay or an explorer ii. I can’t see being able to afford a Rolex GMTii any time soon [emoji30]) Also a chrono….Am drawn to the grey side of the moon (outstanding value used) or a speedmaster racing or even a sapphire sandwich 3861.
NOMOS also interests me as does Zero West and I appreciate Grand seiko but I’m not sure the bracelets are all that.
