I’ve owned dozens of watches, but I’ve whittled it all down to two: My dad’s late 60’s Seamaster De Ville and my 2009 Explorer 114270.

Steed 13 June 2022 05:48 AM

It’s been a while since I have posted.
During that time my collection has grown a bit.
Hope you enjoy.

Not anything extra special, but it is satisfactory for me.

Who makes that watch case? It’s nice.

Fantastic collection. What’s planned for the final spot? Sitting there all lonely/empty.

It’s by Wolf- they do a range of different size cases and winders.

Fantastic taste!
There isn't a watch there I wouldn't be happy to own.
Ever consider swapping the exp ii for the five digit?
Other than that tough to beat!

Terrible pictures but here’s my current collection.

Somewhat bored with my Rolex at the moment. Thinking about adding a Datejust or Yachtmaster for something different.

Considering your other watches, does that 5205 get much wrist time?

I have the olive dial on order and I hope I love it as much as I think I will. I wear my 5270 for long periods of time and then not for a few months, so I hope I appreciate the 5205 as it deserves.

Thanks. No, as it has sentimental value, but I am very close to adding the 5 digit black dial version. Arguably the best value vs complication Rolex at the moment.

I often wear it to the office if I am dressed smartly. It’s such a beautiful watch, in my opinion! Hope you enjoy as much as your 5270.

Im hoping I will, nearly bought the "bullseye" grey TT dial - G from 2 years ago but I like colour dials and this one came up this year and ticks all the boxes.

Love the lugs and love the "modern" take on an annual cal.

Yes, I agree, great design. Which model 5270 do you have and what do you think of the new green dial 5270P?

One day……

I'm not as enamoured with it as I thought I would be. The new green dial is beautiful and certainly unique (for Patek) but the salmon dial was just a showstopper.

1st series for me
