I've heard there will be another big production run in light of the demand, so don't run out to your friendly local grey dealer and pay an extortionate premium on one, people.

It's nice but Harrod's green is deeper, this is more like a Kermit, so a pass from me.

Just like the coach load of Daytonas and Deepblue that are due in too !!!!

What you have to consider is that We see Rolex Steel Sports like the Daytona, Cameron, BLNR, Green Sub etc all selling for 10-20-30-40% over RRP and they are available worldwide in the thousands. The Harrods Tudor is from Harrods UK only and Rolex/Tudor May uplift but demand will outstrip supply significantly more.
There’s already a comfortable 2 year wait list in theory based on demand and the watch hasn’t even been publicised or seen in the open yet so regardless of the potential hike in price to get one it is a very very desirable
Watch on so many levels

Anyone else got theirs yet? Did another 50 get release last week? Surely that's all 100 accounted for now.

pie72 10 December 2017 08:57 PM

Heading down next week to the big city, can't wait to see it in the flesh. Love the idea of the green bezel.

dysondiver 10 December 2017 10:10 PM

this green ink must be as expensive as red ink ,,, or getting close

So far 69 have been delivered to Harrods and many of the first [emoji641][emoji646] are collected and being enjoyed.

A couple been sold on but one mans loss is another’s gain

Let's not try to hype this any more, esp considering you are a grey dealer yourself and stand to benefit from it the most.

Be assured the sale of a Tudor Green is unlikely coupled with the limited numbers. I’m sure I’ll be fine with the other 800+ I have but may I take this opportunity to remind you I was and still am very much a watch enthusiast of 30 years.

As a dealer we don’t benefit anymore from this than any other. You buy at one price and sell at another. All the same if they cost £100 or £1000000

There’s no hype. If you took the trouble to google you’d find a few of my previous articles and compliments passed on the Tudor black bay from release and subsequent models getting praise all of which have little to no impact on any Grey sales Figures.

It’s nice, it’s the right combination of colour and detail and it’s more
Likely to be on my wrist than many others costing 10x this

I am hoping the watches you have ordered are for personal use as you claim and not for profiteering as you are a big grey dealer, but then 300 posts here in 9 years and then suddenly a wave of them on this thread is giving me some doubt so cut all the resale talk, just stick to the watch.

Yeah sorry mate I’ll not bother contributing after a busy few years !! Perhaps after 20+ years on forum and working with watches all day I have little to say but this is a watch I absolutely love and was just informing the conversation. I sell several thousand watches a year I’m sure this won’t change my life. But as I said great Watch and mine isn’t for sale.

I don’t think they are. It’s a watch that’ll be snapped up. I know of 2 that have sold private but neither got to see a Grey dealers

The Daytona has always sold for way over RRP on the secondary market. I really don't get the hype surrounding the BLNR and the LVc, but at least the D Blue is associated with something of pretty special significance to a dive watch.

It's a beautiful watch in execution, but Harrods and the Al-Fayeds ? Give me a break. The black bay "shopping" edition ....:?

What next, a black bay with a pepsi bezel "Tesco" ?

There's nothng in any way endearing about being associated with a department store ultimately owned by an 88 year old suspected sexual predator. But each to their own...

Al Fayed sold that store 7 years ago mate!

Forget the Harrods connection. A beautiful shade of green with nice detailing is what makes it. Nothing to do with collaboration.

Don't forget, those were the "good times", he sold and now the Qataris and their "network" own this, even worse.

He did indeed - totally forgot that. Apologies.

As I said its a beatuful watch but the whole "Harrods edition" puts me right off.

Is there an engraved "H" somewhere?

Don't be tempted, the Qataris who own Harrods and stole the World cup, will make as many as is demanded as they are a fully commercial enterprise and Tudor are accommodating them, this is not a limited edition in any way.

Wow - Thats quite a difference between the 2 prices - even so thats some insane markup.

BLAUGRANA 12 December 2017 04:42 AM

I got on the list about 36-48 hours after news broke. Not sure I'll get one.

Oat Willy 12 December 2017 04:55 AM

Too many different colors going on with it, with the bezel markings in white/silver, then gold on black on the dial and aged cream lume, green bezel etc. Nothing ties together, looks like a frankenwatch

Strummer25 12 December 2017 05:45 AM

If you can land one then get it. Will always be worth more than RRP and could go through the roof wether they make 100, 1000 or 10,000. It's cheeper and quirkier than an LV and it's made by Tudor. Can't lose

this is a harsh comment and not really justified - Harrods is owned by the QIA and run like a normal commercial enterprise. Whats wrong with that?

Again - negative comments without any basis. The Qatari's stole the World Cup?

I thought this was a watch forum - not a bashing site.

Only time will tell if it is a true limited edition or a long term line
