Where did that lovely cake come from?

Yes, lots of old people at the Boulevard. In hats, too.

:chuckle: The cake is from Publix the main grocery store around these parts. They have a bakery. Bahama Breeze is a chain that sells Caribbean food, Jamaica, Cuba, that sort of thing. On a scale with Olive Garden, Outback, places like that if you have those only a different menu. In fact, the same place that owns Olive Garden and Red Lobster owns them. It's pretty good there, good mixed drinks.

Thanks to all for your comments about my purchase dilemma. Stay tooned and I will post my resolution soon. It's such a good price...if I were a flipper, which I am NOT, I could sell it right away and make some money. It is priced from the AD considerably less than a respected seller is offering it here. And I hear there's an impending price increase, although the AD didn't tell me that....

Rodentman 1 April 2013 09:33 AM

Well, it hasn't happened yet. If they weren't closed today I'd probably do the deal now. I'll tomorrow at 10 am and have them set it aside and pick it up on the way home.

Lion 1 April 2013 09:35 AM

Bob, good for you...it's always nice to buy yourself toys once in awhile!!!

Fine, but how many dealers are there in your state, and what would the time take to visit all and then enter that data on a spreadsheet and calculate the best deal? Take it up a notch, Rainman!:rofl:

kcmo 2 April 2013 05:47 AM

Hey Everyone :bye:....haven't stopped in for coffee in a while...let's see, I need to catch up:

Lisa - you're still awaiting the Ball, right?

Bob - you're getting a PAM?

Art - that chicken caesar salad looked delicious! Hope you had a nice lunch.

Wes - you're not still eating those Cadbury eggs are you? Though I wouldn't blame you!

J - is it just me or could you literally scream at the thought of consuming another piece of matzos? :crying: One more day....one more day....

Rodentman 2 April 2013 06:16 AM

Karis,

I like Matzos. Good for a change.

This will be PAM #4. I have a 241, 392, 176 already. So I have a 40mm, 42mm, and 44mm. The pending one is a 47mm. You should see my bill for straps.

Regarding the finances, all I can say is that it's a thin line between numerator and denominator!

The Joker 2 April 2013 06:20 AM

Hi Karis :bye:

Got one cream egg left to eat, then gotta start working on the giant egg. :crying:

I don't dislike Matzos, but geez, I feel like I've eaten a LOT! :crying: I scaled back just in time for the holiday to be just about over. Oh well!

Wow, you have quite a PAM collection. Can't imagine a 47mm! Wowzas! That's a hunka watch!

Looks like 3 or 4 thousand dollars in the bottom. :chuckle:

Lion 2 April 2013 08:44 AM

Karis, I like matzo as it goes great with a lot of dishes...as a matter of fact broken pieces mixed with eggs, diced onion, green peppers and tomatoes scrambled sounds good. I know you have noticed but the boxes it comes in have sure gotten smaller and has less product then a few years ago. But everything these days has gone that way at the grocery store!!!

Take it easy.....Leo
