Just a comment about your signature photo about attracting positive energy-
To attract positive energy, you actually need to give off negative energy.
Give it a try, you'll have better luck. :chuckle:
PS with the above in mind. Hate it!

paddy_crow 22 October 2011 08:15 AM

DLC is awesome for internal engine parts. For wristwatches, not so much.

Speed 22 October 2011 08:22 AM

Does it come with a Sharpie pen to fix the scratches???

brownbear 22 October 2011 08:26 AM

I like it!!!!!!

esm 22 October 2011 08:29 AM

I give you a lot of props for making these custom Rolex watches. I personally don't have the heart and guts to do this to my babies. It's like trying to change a Audi into a Volkswagon or telling a turtle to turn into a tortoise.

Not my cup of tea but to each, his own.

Not for me.

MY-WATCH 22 October 2011 08:56 AM

cedargrove 22 October 2011 08:58 AM

I like it. I wouldn't do this to my own watch, but I'd wear it if someone gave it to me.

Seriously, how do these blacked out watches develop their patina over time? I like the look, but if through normal wear and tear the black scratched off and you could then see the stainless steel, that would be a bummer. Will rolex even service them? The one thing I love about Rolex is that they are made to last a lifetime, and then hopefully your kids lifetime too. Can one expect the same on these modified versions? Just ask'n...

Rollie2011 22 October 2011 10:09 AM

Yikes. Thats bad.

But not as bad as that god awful DSSD.

But what ever floats for boat!!!

Naples09 22 October 2011 10:39 AM

Congrats! You've made the Ignore List.

slcbbrown 22 October 2011 11:17 AM

Looks good. Is that Maratac's strap? I've been looking a something like that one.

Darlinboy 22 October 2011 12:05 PM

You've got fail!:crying:

MoBe 22 October 2011 12:21 PM

Where are the diamonds?

eric23 22 October 2011 12:52 PM

I like it! If I was going to mod a Rolex I would do something like that.

Christiaan 22 October 2011 12:55 PM

Not for me, but not my watch.

CoachRolexRyan 22 October 2011 12:58 PM

You my friend have too much time and money on your hands!LOL!
It looks great!

Ebruner 22 October 2011 01:04 PM

EPIC fail.....I would rather go to jail than wear that watch. Sorry, but you asked.

not sure, what the point is to post that same watch again after 4 weeks with almost the same thread title.

Why don't you come up with something new or is your intention only to generate clicks and interest for your business and flog that watch later in the FS section here on the board?

Sorry for posting a thread bondtoys ... it won't happen again

travisb 22 October 2011 11:00 PM

Not my taste.

I love the classic stock SS.

gooter 22 October 2011 11:29 PM

I am typically a fan of PVD watches, but for some reason this one just doesnt look right. It looks cheap, imo. Maybe its just the picture?

I'm with you Bondtoys. Enough of the 'viral marketing BS'. This is a watch forum where we discuss watch topics. Another topic just to drive attention and traffic to Black-Out where the OP is clearly involved per his LinkedIn profile.

Mosco 23 October 2011 12:14 AM

Who wants to start a pool on how quickly this will be in the FS section? I'll take 3-5 days :chuckle:

And my other threads are to draw attention to what? Gold and Vintage Rolexes?..... Can you even READ the word Black Out on the dial in this thread... if so your eyes are better then mine. And after all the "investigation" have I captivated you enough to get you buy a watch from me? GTFOH :thumbsdow

TRF is NOT the place to sell cool customized watches, I'm not stupid. But I can sure generate a lot of hate here by just posting a picture of watch I'm wearing. Which is why I included the Poll... just to prove the prove that point.

Some of you are so hateful, negative and bitter. Like the Rolex company pays your mortgage... get a life.

Positive energy is in the air.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I have seen some nice watches on DLC. The classic GMT looses its class when coated though. It is not nice imho.
