2018 GMT Master II 126710 BLRO on wrist
 

My local AD had a demo unit (no movement) of the new Pepsi GMT Master II in the store and it really is stunning in person. I'm a big fan!

I love the 16710, i own them, I hàve photographed them alongside my 116660 JC. This is the first time that I have seen the 126710 alongside a reference that I own, it looks truly ghastly . It could not look more contrived.
Every direction that Rolex is pursuing is deeply diminishing my opinion of the brand.

The Sky Dweller and DSSD dwarf the BLRO. In some pics the red on the BLRO looks maroon.

Those bezel colours are all wrong. Pinky red and purply blue!

A good looking watch. I look forward to seeing it in person.

I like the bracelet. I like the SS.

I'm not so sure about the king size numbers in the rotating insert, and I'm not sure if Rolex trimmed down the lug wide enough.

As for the colors? Have to see it in person, as every picture shows different results under different light conditions and camera type.

Love it and can't wait to get the call! The jubilee looks amazing and such a nice compliment to the watch! It's a good thing there are so many haters of the colors and bracelet so there should be tons available. :chuckle:

of the haters this is my estimation

10% wouldn't buy it even if it was the aluminum colors as they dont like GMT's
20% probably it is truly a color issue that they dont like
20% dont like jubilees and are not open to it an any situation
50% saw the waitlist and then decided since they were not getting it anyway, they now dont like it:chuckle:

I think people claim to have principles but when offered a watch they want, they will walk out of the AD with the watch and without the card. Its much easier said than done.

Yeah, deffo, I have gotten over that factor now and my last purchases have all had their stickers removed. Warranty card is a no issue now...

LOVE THIS WATCH! I think they crushed it with the jubilee. The last few years the modern Rolexes have actually done a great job blending the best of the new with the best of the old. I think this includes the Exp II, the Daytona C, and now the new Pepsi.

The logic behind the jubilee is simple. People who bought the WG 116719 BLRO are probably die hard fans. The new release must be differentiated from the WG version, thus the jubilee bracelet to keep the peace.

Either way both are gorgeous pieces, here is my BLRO saying hi :)

Thank you. From the brief time I had it on my wrist I found it comfortable and I happen to like the aesthetics of the juibilee bracelet, but I can understand why others don't care for the look.
