Thanks very much for all the comments Im am very very happy - I know I have made the right choice although it was a little out of my price range (thats what an offset mortgage is for :-)).
I have just come back from the pub after celebrating. |
:wav:
Well done steve... you are one lucky man to have a 233 as a first PAM... I am happy for you mate.. CONGRATS..... and welcome to the FANG world.... |
Congrats Steve!! time for some straps!
|
Ive already started looking at straps :-) - I like the Simona, Heroic 18 and Ted SU makes but still undecided. I think I would like a light tan strap for starters. Im not too sure which is better for a small wrist - advice always appreciated.

Another 233 Freak!!! HUGE CONGRATS, Steve!!! 233 is a perfect watch!!!

With a similar sized wrist to me the bigger straps can be a bit oversized, i'd stick to anything 4mm and thinner, with the OEM straps being nice and Heroic18 and Ted Su doing some nice ones in thinner sizes. |
Welcome to the 233 family!
|
233 is what I'm aiming at right now...
|
looking good there fella

:clap::clap:cant wait... and Steve.. careful with driving.. i almost killed myself, i almost crashed twice at high speed when i could not take my eyes of my new 233 watching how the light catches it... i kid you not.... |
thats an interesting quote Zed - where in the UK are you from ?
I have dabbled being a racing driver (MM Championship) so I only drive fast on the track - had a big accident last year and my family would rather me not race anymore - I think it was more frightening for them than me. I am buliding a 328 Track car just for fun with a mate which should stop the tempation of doing 150 mph + on the A303 :dummy: |
by the way I cant spell
|
Congrats! The 233 is an awesome piece.
|
I expect that you will enjoy your 233 as much as I am enjoying mine
The strap thing is a bit obsessive.
I already have three plus the two that came with the watch. The strange thing is I keep looking at others. Now I know why there is a market for the previously unknown watch band folder. To all outthere is there a maximum before you say enough straps?? benio |

Cool man.. being a (REAL) racing driver.... for me i just love to feel the car clinching on the road with the last ot its fingernaile while i could hear the engine pounding in rythme with my heart.. it is a :machinegu: feeling i cant get enough of... i maintain 180km/h on semi curvy roards and 80-120km/h on serious montain terrain with lots of 180s.. here is a snap shot of an accident i had last year with my 4x4 V W Tuareg.. (i was not speeding then) SO BE CAREFUL WITH THAT BABY ON YOUR WRIST... |
