Homemade Lightbox - first attempt
My "first" attempt at a homemade lightbox. Made it out of cardboard box. Cut the sides off and replaced with regular printing paper.
Light was from a floor lamp that was placed on the top left. ISO100, F11, 6sec http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2723/...8d6a15d8_o.jpg Light was from Flash from direct right. ISO100, F11, 1/60sec http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2499/...b63f8fea_o.jpg Which one do you like? |

Looks very good, do you have a way to dim the light?

I use a large white plastic garbage can. Place your subject inside the can and the light source on the outside so the can acts as a diffuser. Works like a charm.

For additional inspiration, can you show us pictures of your lightbox setup?

NICE!
Add white balance to the mix and you'll really capture the metallic colors. |
Looks good. How about some pics of the lightbox too?
